Tax Collector Hours:
Hello! The current 2024.2025 School Tax bills have been mailed out. You should see them in your mailboxes any day! The Discount cycle runs from August 1, 2024 thru September 30, 2024. Face collection runs from Oct 1, 2024 thru Nov 30, 2024 and anything after will be in the Penalty phase.
I will be collecting taxes at The Borough office on Wednesdays from 4-7 PM beginning July 31, 2024. The Borough office is located at 10 Ave I, Matamoras, PA.
If these hours are not convenient there are alternative metholds. Your bill; along with payment, can be mailed to me directly at 205 Avenue N; Matamoras, PA, or dropped off at 205 Avenue N, Matamoras, in the Locked TAXES mailbox on my front property. This box is checked on a daily basis (more than once during busy times!).
For those dropping off or mailing your tax bill/payment, and you want a receipt, please remember to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for the return of your receipt.
