Tax Collector Hours:
Hello! The current Property Tax bills were mailed out on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024. You should see them in your mailboxes any day! The Discount cycle runs from March 1, 2024 until April 30, 2024.
I will be collecting taxes at The Borough Office on Wednesdays from 4- 7 PM. The Borough office is located at 10 Ave I, Matamoras PA. My first Wednesday there will be 2/28/2024.
Also, your bill; along with payment, can be mailed to me directly at 205 Avenue N, Matamoras or dropped off at 205 Avenue N, Matamoras, in the Locked TAXES mailbox on my front property. And, now that I have retired from my full-time day position at DVSD, I will be home and will check that box several times throughout the day.
For those dropping off or mailing your tax bill/payment, and you want a signed receipt, please remember to include a stamped self-addressed envelope for the return of your receipt.
